Teaching kids to save has always been important to ING DIRECT – and it’ll stay that way as Capital One 360. But legally we weren’t allowed to keep using orangekids.com (and some of the other orange-y names and logos on the site, too) so on January 9, 2013, we had to close the site down.
But we’re still committed as ever to helping kids learn the basics of earning, saving and investing. Don’t forget – you can always visit our Young Savers section right here on wethesavers.com for some kid-friendly ways to help get little ones on the road to financial independence. Or follow Capital One’s Teaching Money on Twitter @TeachingMoney for some great tweets on talking to kids about money.
